This was the first company in the Cleveland area to pasteurize milk and sell it in glass bottles. The bottle was topped with a paper stopper labeled "tested and sealed." The Telling-Belle Vernon Company of Cleveland was once the largest dairy in Ohio and had franchises in Columbus, Dayton, West Virginia, and Michigan. In 1930 the company became the "Sealtest" Foods Division of the Kraftco Company (now Kraft Foods Inc.).
